Job Summary: The Collector / Loan Recovery Officer is responsible for managing and collecting overdue car loan payments. This role requires maintaining effective communication with borrowers to negotiate repayment plans, ensuring timely debt recovery, and minimizing loan losses while upholding positive customer relationships and compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities: •Contact customers who are late by phone, visit and text regularly to remind them of payment and discuss additional payment solutions. Record the results of the contact. •Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on debt balance, due date, number of late cases and results of collection process to submit to management. •Review and issue installment contracts or other contracts, ensuring that customer data, car price, interest rate and payment schedule are accurate. Calculate monthly payments, penalties or outstanding debt accurately. •Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications. • Assist Credit Supervisor monitor the system GPS: Monitor GPS systems for vehicles that are assets or customer vehicles to track their location day and night, check for unusual activity such as vehicles losing signal or unusual movement, prepare GPS usage reports for management, and coordinate with the Collection/Recovery team when there is a risk. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. •Previous experience in loan collections, preferably car or auto loans, is highly desirable. •Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. •Proficiency in office software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. •Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations. Working Conditions •Full-time position. •May require occasional overtime or weekend work based on business needs.
