JOB SUMMARY: • Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst providing a prompt follow-up. • Provides a courteous and professional service at all times. • Maintains positive working attitude at all times. • Interacts and sustains good working relationships with colleagues and external guests. • Ensures Engineering Division meets the Hotel’s targets in the areas of Guest JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Works closely with other employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall, success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests. • Works in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of “We work through Teams”. • Carries out and completes all maintenance works/requests according to the established schedule and ensures high quality of finishing work. Pays particular attention to guest related jobs. • Operates assigned machines/ equipment or “Primary Plant” as to provide continuous and consistent utilities required for operations. • Handles the verification, storage and utilization of all fuel deliveries to the premises as per the established policy and procedures. • Avoids unsightly hazards and complies with all local regulations and codes. • Properly handles and maintains all power tools. • Submits request to the Maintenance Supervisor/ Chief Engineer for the purchases of parts and consumables. • Ensures cleanliness of all work areas and protects the surroundings when executing duties. • Ensures effective energy conservation measures in areas of operations • Ensures fire, life and safety systems are operational JOB QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum 1 years’ experience as Maintenance Officer position in standard hotel Graduated bachelor of Electrical Engineering
