About the Position The Partnerships and Development Officer (PDO) supports the expansion of PEPY Empowering Youth’s stakeholder network, deepening community and donor relationships, supporting fundraising efforts, and promoting youth engagement opportunity. Key Responsibilities This position reports to the Partnerships & Development Manager (PDM) for workload management and Performance Planning and Review (PPR). Under the guidance of and in cooperation with the PDM, the PDO will: i. Partnerships & network development • engage positively with partnering stakeholders (including donors, alumni, schools and community organizations) by networking and direct outreach; and • participate in promotional events that support stakeholder engagement and promote development opportunities for regional youth; and • Lead and coordinate tours and host site visits for partners, supporters and other stakeholders with support from Programs teams as needed. • assist with the organization of promotion, awareness and fundraising activity and events in collaboration with the PDM; and • represent PEPY publicly to strengthen stakeholder engagement and promote development opportunities in a manner that observes and upholds PEPY’s values. ii. Fundraising & donor engagement • support efforts to fund annual overhead and administrative costs by assisting with fundraising campaigns, and • spearhead all localized fundraising efforts, including those done in partnership with the PEPY Alumni Association; and • communicating effectively with donors including through implementation of donor segmentation strategies; and • coordinate all assigned donor reporting and acknowledgements as specified in the activity plan, tailored to donor expectations and contribution levels. iii. Donor database and planning • maintain accurate and up-to-date donor data and information; and • Assist PDM to coordinate the annual fundraising calendar and monthly donor contact and engagement schedule. iv. Alumni engagement • serve as PEPY’s primary point of contact for the Alumni Association, supporting alumni-led fundraising, promotion and awareness; and • facilitate PEPY funded Alumni Association activity. v. Administration, planning & reporting • maintain timely and accurate records of partnership activities, donor interactions and event outcomes; and • meet reporting expectations including activity summaries, updates and outcomes as requested by the PDM; and • contribute to regular planning, review and coordination meetings. vi. Performance development • commit to continuous learning and professional development activities including in relation to mandatory training: and • actively participate in Performance Planning and Review (PPR) processes including self-assessment, goal setting and feedback discussion and development planning in line with individual and team performance priorities. Selection Criteria Essential 1. relevant higher-level qualification (e.g. business, management or marketing experience) 2. strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), in both Khmer and English 3. demonstrated ability in building relationships and initiating outreach with external stakeholders 4. ability to coordinate and support fundraising activities, events, and donor stewardship 5. Competency in using databases, spreadsheets, and digital communication tools 6. understanding of child protection principles & practices including the implementation of safeguarding policies & the identification & prevention of all forms of child abuse 7. commitment to PEPY’s Vision, Mission, Values, & internal guidelines including policy & procedures. Desirable 8. previous experience in fundraising, donor relations, or partnership development. 9. Basic graphic design skills, video production and editing experience. Practical 10. valid driver's license 11. maintain a valid police certificate (obtained by application for a criminal background check) for the duration of employment.
