Purchasing Officer (500$+)

Key Responsibilities - Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery terms - Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies - Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to avoid shortages or overstock - Ensure all purchased items meet required specifications and quality standards - Track order status and follow up on deliveries to ensure timeliness - Coordinate with finance/accounting for invoice verification and payment processing - Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and documentation - Handle supplier issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing and resolve them promptly - Support cost-control initiatives and suggest purchasing improvements - Ensure compliance with internal procedures and ethical procurement practices Qualifications & Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field - Minimum 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (F&B or retail experience is an advantage) - Strong negotiation and communication skills - Good knowledge of purchasing procedures and supplier management - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic purchasing systems - Ability to work independently and under pressure - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Honest, responsible, and well-organized
