The Night Auditor / Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring smooth guest check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role combines customer service with accounting tasks, ensuring both guest satisfaction and accurate hotel reporting. Front Desk / Guest Services: - Greet and assist guests checking in or out during the night shift. - Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and efficiently. - Make reservations over the phone, email, or online booking platforms. - Ensure accurate room assignments and update the Property Management System (PMS). - Maintain security by verifying guest identities and following check-in procedures. Night Auditing / Accounting Tasks: - Perform daily audit of hotel financial transactions, including room charges, restaurant bills, and other services. - Reconcile cash, credit card, and other payment methods. - Prepare daily revenue reports and submit them to management. - Verify postings and charges to guest accounts. - Resolve discrepancies in billing and report irregularities. Administrative & Miscellaneous Duties: - Prepare and distribute night shift reports for management. - Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for guest requests and room readiness. - Ensure the front desk area is tidy and secure. - Follow emergency procedures and ensure guest safety during the night. - Perform any other tasks assigned by management related to front desk operations or night auditing.
