Senior Collector

Position: Collector Supervisor The Collector Supervisor manages a team of collectors handling car loan accounts in arrears, ensuring effective follow up via phone, field visits, and written notices. The role is responsible for achieving collection targets, reducing delinquency and NPL, and ensuring all activities comply with internal policies and consumer protection regulations. Salary Range 350$ - 450$ Key responsibilities o Ensure timely follow‑up customers who are late by phone, visit and text regularly to remind them of payment and discuss additional payment solutions. Record the results of the contact. o Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on debt balance, due date, number of late cases and results of collection process to submit to management. o Review and issue installment contracts or other contracts, ensuring that customer data, car price, interest rate and payment schedule are accurate. Calculate monthly payments, penalties or outstanding debt accurately. •Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications. o Provide exceptional customer service to support loan recovery and foster positive client relations. o Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date recording of all customer contacts and actions in the loan/collection system. o Train new staff on collection procedures, scripts, systems, and compliance requirements; conduct regular refreshers and side‑by‑side coaching. Required qualifications o Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, business administration, or related field. o Several years of experience in loan collection or recovery, preferably in auto finance, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team‑leader role. o Strong knowledge of consumer‑credit and car‑loan products, collection techniques, and basic legal/recovery processes. o Good leadership, communication, and negotiation skills; able to manage difficult conversations with customers. o Proficient in spreadsheets and collection/loan management systems; able to analyze portfolio and performance data. o High integrity, resilience under pressure, and willingness to work flexible hours when needed.
