Duties and Responsibilities • Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, including civil, structural, and architectural works. • Ensure all work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards. • Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep the project on track. • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide on-site teams. • Perform quality checks on materials, workmanship, and construction processes. • Document and report any deviations from the project plan or quality standards. • Liaise with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve technical queries and design issues. • Enforce strict health and safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. • Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks. • Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, and near-misses. • Ensure environmental regulations are adhered to during all construction activities. • Coordinate daily with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure a smooth workflow. • Act as the primary point of contact for all on-site operational matters. • Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager, highlighting key achievements and challenges. • Maintain clear and accurate site records, including daily logs, progress photos, and inspection reports. • Monitor the use of materials, equipment, and labor on-site to ensure efficiency and prevent waste. • Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment as needed. • Plan and allocate daily tasks to on-site teams to maximize productivity.
