Intern - Investment Analyst

1. Background We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Intern-Investment Analyst. This internship provides hands-on experience in various aspects of the investment process, including financial modeling, market research, and portfolio support. The intern will gain exposure to a range of clients and investment types, contributing directly to the team’s analysis and decision-making processes. 2. Key Responsibilities The Intern will be responsible for the following tasks: • Financial Analysis & Modeling: Assist in building and maintaining detailed financial models (e.g., DCF, comparable company analysis) for clients. • Market and Industry Research: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic factors relevant to current and prospective investment targets. • Due Diligence Support: Help organize and review due diligence materials, summarizing key findings and risks for the Investment Team. • Reporting: Prepare clear and concise investment memos, presentations, and summary reports for internal stakeholders and management. 3. Qualifications and Requirements • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field, preferably final year. • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting and corporate finance principles. • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with meticulous attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint. Experience with financial data tools is a plus. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex problems clearly. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities 4.
