Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications that deliver a seamless user experience, contributing directly to YOUDING’s product innovation and business growth. Duties & Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using modern frameworks and tools. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, backend, and design) to define, design, and deliver new features. - Ensure performance, stability, and responsiveness of applications. - Lead and mentor junior developers, guiding them through technical best practices. - Integrate YOUDING’s mobile apps with backend services via RESTful APIs. - Participate in code reviews, contribute to architecture decisions, and improve development processes. - Identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and enhance user experience. - Manage release schedules and ensure timely product updates. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Android development • Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and Android Studio. • Solid understanding of MVVM architecture, Jetpack Compose, and Android design principles. • Hands-on experience with Coroutines, Retrofit, Dependency Injection, and Background Services. • Familiar with REST APIs, JSON, and backend integration. • Experience with SQLite, Room Database, and data persistence techniques. • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. • Knowledge of version control (Git) and Agile development processes. • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
