Senior External Audit

Job Summary: The Senior External Auditor is responsible for leading and executing audit engagements in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and applicable Cambodian regulations. This role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to supervise audit teams, communicate effectively with clients, and ensure high-quality audit reports. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and execute audit engagements for a variety of clients across industries. • Lead and supervise junior audit staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. • Review financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS, CIFRS, and Cambodian tax laws. • Perform risk assessments and identify key areas of audit focus. • Evaluate internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement. • Prepare and present audit findings to clients in a professional manner. • Ensure timely completion of audit work within agreed deadlines. • Maintain strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact during engagements. • Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, accounting regulations, and tax laws in Cambodia. Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred. • Minimum 2-3 years of external audit experience, including at least 1–2 years in a senior role. • Strong knowledge of IFRS, CIFRS, ISA, and Cambodian taxation. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit software. • Excellent communication skills in English and Khmer (both written and spoken). Chinese is a Plus
