Ref: PR-25022 Position: Senior Mechanical/Product Design Engineer Department: Operating Salary: Negotiate + Allowances Date required: ASAP Report to: Mengse OUENG Manager/Sup: Mengse OUENG Responsibilities: • Lead the design and development of innovative commercial cooking equipment and components. • Drive product improvement initiatives, ensuring high performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness. • Oversee and validate BOM creation in ERP system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production needs. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and interns. • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, production, quality assurance, and procurement teams. • Ensure compliance with company standard and safety regulations. • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports. • Support manufacturing and troubleshooting, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. • Evaluate and integrate new materials and technologies into product designs. • Lead continuous improvement projects and contribute to strategic product roadmaps. • Represent the engineering team in customer meetings, supplier discussions, and audits. • Other tasks as assigned by the manager. Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • Experience in mechanical/product design, preferably in manufacturing or industrial equipment. • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM systems. • Proven experience with sheet metal design, fabrication processes, and material selection. • Good understanding of quality standards, product validation, and testing protocols. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including statistical analysis and design optimization. • Familiarity with electrical components and integration in mechanical systems. • Experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) for BOM and production planning. • Effective communication and leadership skills; ability to manage cross-functional teams. • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus. • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
