- Supplier Identification: Research, identify, and qualify potential suppliers and vendors based on price, quality, delivery speed, and reliability. - Tendering and Quotations: Manage the Request for Quotation, Request for Proposal, and bidding processes, analyzing proposals to recommend the best value. - Contract Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms, prices, deadlines, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimal procurement agreements. - Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for critical materials or services to secure long-term stability and cost control. - Purchase Orders (POs): Generate, issue, and track purchase orders (POs), ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery confirmation. - Inventory Control: Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Inventory) to forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and ensure adequate stock while minimizing carrying costs. - Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics providers for the timely and cost-effective movement and delivery of goods.
