Key Responsibilities Inventory & Stock Management - Supervise the receipt, inspection, and storage of supplies, books, uniforms, and equipment. - Maintain accurate stock records using manual logs or inventory management systems. - Conduct regular stock checks, reconciliations, and audits. - Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase requests to avoid shortages. - Ensure safe and organized storage of materials. Distribution & Coordination - Oversee the issuance of supplies to teachers, staff, and departments. - Coordinate distribution of school materials such as uniforms, textbooks, and resources to students. - Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering and replenishment. Team Supervision - Lead and supervise stockroom staff, storekeepers, or assistants. - Train staff on proper inventory handling, safety, and record-keeping procedures. - Assign tasks and monitor daily performance. Compliance & Reporting - Ensure compliance with school/organizational policies and financial guidelines. - Maintain documentation for audits and reporting. - Prepare monthly stock reports, usage summaries, and loss/damage reports. Other Duties - Implement best practices to improve efficiency and minimize stock loss. - Support school events or projects requiring bulk supplies. - Uphold health, safety, and security standards in the stockroom. Qualifications & Skills - Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. - Minimum [2 years] experience in inventory, warehouse, or stock management (school/education sector is an advantage). - Strong organizational and leadership skills. - Knowledge of inventory control systems (manual and digital). - Good communication and teamwork abilities. - Integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
