Position Overview: NIRA International School is seeking three motivated and supportive Teaching Assistants to work alongside teachers in nursery, Grades 4 and Grade 7 classes. The role involves providing academic and pastoral support to students, assisting in lesson delivery, and helping maintain a positive and well-organised learning environment. Responsibilities: • Support teachers in implementing engaging lessons. • Assist in preparing classroom materials, resources, and displays. • Help maintain classroom discipline and a respectful learning environment. • Supervise students during transitions, breaks, and school activities. • Promote positive behaviour and student well-being through encouragement and guidance. • Support teachers with record-keeping and administrative tasks as needed. • Communicate effectively with teachers, colleagues, and students to support learning goals. Qualifications and Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Previous experience working with students in an international school setting is an advantage. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in supporting students. • Ability to follow teacher direction and contribute to a collaborative team environment. • Basic proficiency in English (spoken and written). • Basic computer skills (Microsoft office).
