Trim Inspector Worker

Job Title: Trim Inspector (or similar QC role) Key Responsibilities: • Inspection: Conduct thorough visual checks on incoming trims (labels, buttons, threads, etc.) and finished garments for quality, color, size, and defects. • AQL & Standards: Apply AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) sampling and verify compliance with buyer specifications and approved swatches. • Documentation: Accurately record inspection findings, defects, and quantities in reports, often in English. • Stock Management: Control trims stock in the warehouse and ensures correct release to production. • Reporting: Prepare defect summaries, fabric dispatch reports, and communicate quality issues to production, QA, and managers. • Follow-up: Track and ensure corrective actions are taken for identified defects. • Specialized Checks: Use approved light sources (D65, TL84, UV) for color checks. Qualifications & Skills: • Experience: Previous experience in apparel QC/QA, ideally with trims. • Language: Good command of English (written/spoken) and Khmer. • Technical: Knowledge of garment construction, AQL, and defect classification. • Attributes: Honest, reliable, hardworking, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
