The Car Assistant Loan Recovery Officer is responsible for managing and recovering overdue car loan accounts. This role involves active communication with borrowers to negotiate repayment plans, minimizing loan defaults, and ensuring recovery targets are met while maintaining positive customer relationships. Salary Rangs: 250$-350$ Key Responsibilities • Monitor and track overdue car loan accounts and initiate timely recovery actions. • Contact borrowers through phone calls, emails, and visits to discuss overdue payments and negotiate repayment terms. • Assess borrower’s financial situation to recommend feasible repayment solutions. • Prepare and maintain detailed records of recovery efforts and borrower communications. • Collaborate with legal teams for cases requiring legal action or repossession procedures. • Provide regular updates and reports on recovery progress to the management. • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations related to loan recovery. • Coordinate with credit control and customer service departments for accurate account information. • Aim to reduce non-performing assets (NPAs) by executing effective recovery strategies. • Handle customer queries and disputes professionally. Qualifications and Skills • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred. • Proven experience in loan recovery, collections, or credit control in the financial sector. • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Knowledge of car loan products and financial regulations is an advantage. • Ability to analyze financial information and assess repayment capacity. • Proficiency in using recovery management and CRM software. • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information. • Result-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet recovery targets. Working Conditions • Office-based role with occasional field visits to meet borrowers. • May require working extended hours during peak recovery periods.
