ABOUT THE COMPANY: A leading trusted agent of a leading financial institution, dedicated to empowering individuals and local businesses by offering accessible and flexible loan solutions and fostering financial inclusion across communities. ABOUT THE ROLE: Credit Officer is to serve as a key point of contact for our clients, managing the entire loan process from recruitment and assessment to providing ongoing support, all to make a direct and tangible impact on the financial health of local communities. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Promote and recruit new clients for loan products in line with company credit policies and targets. Conduct loan assessments by evaluating clients’ financial status, repayment capacity, and collateral. Prepare and complete loan application documents for submission and approval. Monitor clients’ repayment schedules, follow up on late payments, and support clients in resolving issues. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients while ensuring high-quality customer service throughout the loan process. WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (final-year students are also encouraged to apply). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with clients in local communities. Basic understanding of credit principles, loan processing, or financial services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Word and Excel). Previous experience in credit, sales, or customer service is a plus.
