CNC Designer / Senior - URGENT Siem Reap (Interior Decor & Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities: 1. Design & Technical Development: • Create detailed 2D/3D product drawings and CNC machining files (DXF, DWG, STL, etc.). • Develop toolpaths and machine programs for CNC routers, laser cutters, plasma cutting, or waterjet systems. • Review and optimize designs for manufacturability, material efficiency, and production speed. • Convert conceptual ideas into production-ready digital formats. 2. CNC Programming & Production Support: • Prepare and validate G-code or relevant CNC machine code. • Conduct trial runs, troubleshoot issues, and adjust programs to ensure accuracy. • Support production teams during CNC setup and machining. • Maintain CNC libraries, templates, and machining standards. 3. Quality & Compliance: • Ensure all designs meet company quality standards and customer specifications. • Perform dimensional checks and verify final outputs meet tolerance requirements. • Collaborate with QC to resolve defects caused by design or programming. 4. Team Collaboration: • Work closely with Product Development, Engineering, and Production teams. • Provide guidance to junior designers or CNC operators. • Participate in R&D for new decorative materials, patterns, and design solutions. 5. Process & Efficiency Improvement: • Identify opportunities to improve machining processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity. • Recommend upgrades or improvements in CNC tools, bits, and machining techniques. • Other more task will be assigned by direct management Qualifications: • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as CNC Designer, CNC Programmer, or Technical Designer in furniture, woodwork, metalwork, or interior decor manufacturing. • Strong understanding of CNC machine operations and tooling. • Proficient in design and CNC software such as: . AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, SketchUp (optional). . VCarve, ArtCAM, Mastercam, Fusion 360, or other CAM software. • Understanding of materials: MDF, plywood, hardwood, acrylic, metal sheets, etc. • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances. • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. • Detail-oriented with high accuracy. • Good communication and teamwork. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
