IT Officer (Base in PoiPet)

Key Responsibilities •Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, monitor, and maintain the company's on-premise and/or cloud-based IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage) to ensure high availability and performance for our iGaming platform. •Security & Compliance: Serve as the primary point for IT security. Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, DDoS mitigation, and security protocols. Ensure systems comply with relevant data protection and industry standards. •System Administration: Administer Linux/Windows servers, perform regular updates, patches, and backups. Manage database performance and integrity (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). •Network Administration: Configure and maintain complex network architectures, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, routing, switching, and load balancers to ensure optimal connectivity and low latency. •Monitoring & Support: Establish comprehensive monitoring (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus) for all critical systems. Provide escalated Level 2/3 technical support and lead incident response and resolution. •Disaster Recovery: Develop, test, and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans. •Leadership & Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff. Lead technical projects and collaborate with development and operations teams. •Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for systems, networks, and procedures. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior IT infrastructure, networking, or systems administration role. Experience in the iGaming, online betting, fintech, or a similarly high-availability, high-security online industry is a significant advantage. Technical Skills: Expertise in Linux (CentOS/RedHat, Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration. Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, Cisco/MikroTik/HP equipment). Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM) and containerization (Docker). Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, hardening). Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation. Knowledge of database administration and monitoring tools. •Language: Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory for reporting, documentation, and international team collaboration. •Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, strong leadership qualities, and a proactive approach to system optimization and security. •Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
