Merchandiser

We are looking for a results-driven Merchandiser to join our growing pharmacy-cum-clinic chain. The Merchandiser will be responsible for managing product selection, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring that our stores meet customer expectations. This role requires close collaboration with store operations teams to achieve sales goals and deliver an exceptional customer experience. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities 1. Product Selection and Inventory Management • Source and manage the product range for our stores to ensure variety and quality. • Monitor inventory levels and ensure consistent stock availability. • Analyze sales trends to optimize product mix and make data-driven decisions. 2. Store Merchandising • Design and implement visually appealing store layouts and product displays. • Ensure all products are accurately labeled and positioned according to branding guidelines. • Conduct regular audits to maintain display standards and address gaps. 3. Supplier Relations • Liaise with suppliers to secure products and negotiate favorable terms. • Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance. • Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements. 4. Collaboration with Store Teams • Work closely with store operations teams to understand and respond to customer needs. Range salary negotiable • Provide guidance to store staff on product placement and promotional strategies. • Coordinate on replenishment and stock management to ensure seamless operations. 5. Market Analysis • Keep abreast of industry trends and customer preferences to stay competitive. • Identify opportunities for introducing new product categories or improvements. • Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategies to enhance market positioning. Qualifications Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. • 5-8 years of experience in merchandising or retail. Skills and Competencies • Strong knowledge of merchandising principles and inventory management. • Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Excellent negotiation and communication skills. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
