Odoo Product Owner

Position Overview: We are looking for a Product Owner specialized in Odoo to lead the development, and continuous improvement of our customer’s business applications. The Product Owner will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring that Odoo modules, workflows, and integrations are designed to deliver maximum value and meet operational needs. Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for Odoo-based applications. Prioritize features, enhancements, and technical tasks using a value-driven approach. Translate business requirements into clear and actionable user stories Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work closely with internal stakeholders to collect needs and identify process optimizations. Analyse and challenge business requirements to ensure feasibility and alignment with Odoo best practices. Draft functional specifications and ensure documentation quality. Backlog Management: Own and maintain the product backlog: user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization. Ensure alignment with sprint objectives and company goals. Coordinate refinement sessions with the development team. Project Coordination & Delivery: Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and integrators to ensure timely delivery. Lead sprint planning, reviews, and product demos. Validate developed features and ensure they meet acceptance criteria. Support rollout, testing phases, and user training when necessary. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyse user feedback to identify improvement opportunities. Ensure Odoo configurations and custom developments remain scalable and maintainable. Benchmark new Odoo features, modules, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Product Owner, Functional Consultant, or similar role in ERP environments. Strong knowledge of Odoo (Community or Enterprise), including core modules (Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.). Ability to convert business needs into functional specifications. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written). Ability to collaborate with technical teams (developers, QA, DevOps). Nice-to-Have: Odoo certification(s). Basic understanding of Python or Odoo development workflows.
