1. 🎯 Job Summary The Interior Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet the client's needs and adhere to all regulatory standards. This role requires a blend of creative talent, technical knowledge, and excellent project management skills to guide projects from initial brief through to final installation. 2. 🔑 Key Responsibilities A. Client Management & Conceptual Design Conduct detailed client meetings and programming sessions to understand their goals, requirements, budget, and desired style. Translate client needs into design concepts, providing space planning, preliminary sketches, and mood boards. Develop comprehensive design presentations, including material samples, color palettes, and 3D renderings, to communicate the design vision. B. Technical Design & Documentation Produce detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), electrical layouts, and custom millwork designs. Specify all Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E), materials (e.g., flooring, wall finishes), lighting, and accessories. Ensure all designs and documentation comply with relevant building codes, accessibility standards, and safety regulations. Utilize design software to create accurate and complete construction documents. C. Project & Vendor Management Develop project timelines and accurate cost estimates, and manage the project budget throughout all phases. Coordinate and collaborate closely with architects, civil/MEP engineers, contractors, and vendors. Manage the procurement process, including placing orders, tracking deliveries, and overseeing installation of design elements. Conduct site visits and inspections during construction to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality control. D. Industry Expertise & Compliance Stay up-to-date on current design trends, materials, and technological developments in the interior design field. Maintain a strong portfolio of completed work. Address any post-installation concerns to ensure complete client satisfaction. 3. 🌟 Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or accredited certificate in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a closely related field.
