Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Support: Provide first-line support to users by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 2. System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. 3. User Assistance: Assist users with technical problems, guiding them through solutions and providing training on new systems and applications. 4. Security Management: Ensure the security of IT systems, including data backup, antivirus protection, and access controls to protect sensitive information. 5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations for future reference and compliance purposes. 6. Collaboration: Work with other IT team members and departments to understand and meet the organization's IT needs and requirements. 7. Project Management: Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and installations, ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards. Required Skills and Qualifications - Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is typically required. Relevant certifications may also be considered. - Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications. Familiarity with programming languages and database management systems is a plus. - Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities to quickly identify and resolve technical issues. - Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with users and document processes. - Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy in documentation and reporting.
