Job Summary The Accounting Supervisor supports daily accounting operations and ensures accuracy in bookkeeping, tax filing, and financial reporting. This role supervises junior accountants, assists with month-end closings, and ensures compliance with Cambodian tax regulations and company policies. โธป 2. Key Responsibilities A. Accounting Operations โข Record and verify daily financial transactions (AP, AR, cash, and bank). โข Prepare and review journal entries, vouchers, and reconciliations. โข Maintain general ledger and support monthly and yearly closing. โข Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records. B. Financial Reporting โข Prepare basic financial statements and management reports. โข Support analysis of income, expenses, and balance sheet accounts. โข Assist in preparing monthly reports for management review. C. Tax & Compliance โข Prepare and submit monthly tax declarations (VAT, WHT, Salary Tax, etc.). โข Ensure compliance with Cambodian accounting and tax laws. โข Coordinate with external auditors and tax officers as needed. D. Supervision & Coordination โข Supervise and support junior accountants or accounting clerks. โข Review supporting documents and payment requests. โข Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions. E. Other Duties โข Assist in preparing annual budgets and audit documents. โข Maintain organized financial filing systems (hard copy and soft copy). โข Perform other tasks assigned by the Accounting Manager or Finance Manager. โธป 3. Qualifications โข Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. โข 3โ5 years of accounting experience, including some supervisory duties. โข Good knowledge of Cambodian tax law and accounting standards. โข Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, or similar). โข Strong Excel and reporting skills. โข Good communication skills in English and Khmer. โธป 4.
