Job Purpose The IT Support Supervisor is responsible for ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT systems across the building management and Chinese restaurant operations, including POS systems, network infrastructure, CCTV, access control, servers, and user support, while minimizing downtime and supporting daily business operations. Key Responsibilities 1. IT Operations & System Support • Ensure continuous operation of POS systems, billing software, inventory systems, and back-office applications. • Monitor and maintain servers, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, printers, and user devices. • Provide first- and second-level IT support to building management staff and restaurant teams. • Troubleshoot system failures and coordinate rapid resolution to avoid business disruption. 2. Building Management IT Systems • Manage and maintain: • CCTV & surveillance systems • Access control systems (card, biometric, gate barriers) • Parking systems • Building Wi-Fi & internal networks • Coordinate with vendors for system upgrades, maintenance, and emergency repairs. • Ensure data security and system compliance with company IT policies. 3. Chinese Restaurant IT & POS Systems • Oversee restaurant POS systems, including: • Order processing • Kitchen display systems (KDS) • Payment gateways • Ensure smooth integration between front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) systems. • Support online delivery platforms and third-party ordering integrations. • Ensure system uptime during peak hours (lunch, dinner, events). 4. Team Supervision & Training • Supervise IT support staff and assign daily tasks. • Train staff on basic IT usage, cybersecurity awareness, and system SOPs. • Prepare duty rosters and on-call support schedules. • Evaluate team performance and recommend improvements. 5. Security, Data & Compliance • Implement data backup and recovery plans. • Maintain cybersecurity controls (user access, passwords, antivirus, firewall). • Protect customer, tenant, and company data confidentiality. • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. 6. Vendor & Asset Management • Coordinate with IT vendors, POS suppliers, CCTV providers, and internet service providers. • Manage IT inventory (computers, POS terminals, routers, licenses). • Control IT budgets, maintenance contracts, and renewal schedules. • Prepare reports on IT incidents, system performance, and improvement plans. 7. Reporting & Continuous Improvement • Submit weekly and monthly IT reports to management. • Analyze recurring issues and propose system upgrades or process improvements. • Support digitalization and technology innovation initiatives.
