Job Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene within residential units and common areas. This role ensures that residents have a safe, welcoming, and "hotel-standard" living environment. You will be the "eyes and ears" of the property, reporting maintenance issues and ensuring the facility remains in top condition. Key Responsibilities 1. Unit Cleaning (Move-In/Move-Out & Stay-Overs) • Living Areas: Dust all surfaces (furniture, baseboards, vents), vacuum carpets, and mop hard floors. • Kitchen: Clean and sanitize countertops, backsplashes, and sinks. Wipe down appliance exteriors (fridge, oven, microwave). Empty and clean trash bins. • Bathrooms: Scrub and disinfect toilets, showers, tubs, and sinks. Polish mirrors and chrome fixtures. Replenish toiletries and towels. • Bedrooms: Change bed linens, fluff pillows, and ensure closets are tidy. 2. Common Area Maintenance • Lobby & Hallways: Daily vacuuming, glass cleaning (entry doors), and dusting of mailboxes/signage. • Elevators: Sanitize buttons and polish stainless steel surfaces daily. • Amenities: Clean and organize the gym, resident lounge, and laundry room. Ensure trash is removed from all public bins. 3. Inspections & Reporting • Maintenance: Identify and report leaks, burnt-out light bulbs, or damaged furniture immediately via the work order system. • Safety: Ensure fire exits are clear and smoke detectors appear intact. • Lost & Found: Document and turn in any items left behind by residents or guests according to company SOP. 4. Inventory Management • Track usage of cleaning chemicals and guest supplies (toilet paper, soap). • Maintain the housekeeping cart and storage closet in an organized, "audit-ready" state. ________________________________________ Qualifications & Skills • Experience: 1+ years in hotel or residential housekeeping preferred. • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot a smudge on a mirror from across the room. • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs. (linen bags/vacuums), and bend/reach frequently. • Professionalism: High level of discretion and respect for resident privacy. • Communication: Basic English (or local language) to understand instructions and report issues.
