Insurance Field Surveyor

Key Responsibilities: Conduct on-site inspections of properties, vehicles, or other insured assets to assess damage or risk. Gather accurate and detailed information, photographs, and supporting documentation for insurance claims or underwriting purposes. Evaluate the cause, nature, and extent of losses and prepare comprehensive field reports. Liaise with clients, claimants, witnesses, repair vendors, and other relevant parties professionally. Verify information provided in insurance applications, claims, or supporting documents. Assist the Claims and Underwriting departments by providing timely and accurate field data. Ensure adherence to company policies, insurance regulations, and industry standards. Maintain proper records of all inspections, reports, and communications. Follow up on pending claims, inspections, or investigations as required. Identify potential fraud or irregularities during field surveys and report immediately. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, or related field preferred. Previous experience in insurance, claims investigation, or field surveying is an advantage. Good knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures, and industry practices. Strong observation, analytical, and reporting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Proficient in MS Office and mobile reporting tools. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively. Competencies: Detail-oriented and highly organized. Professional and ethical in all interactions. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Working Conditions: Fieldwork required, including visits to client locations, accident sites, and properties. Some extended working hours may be required depending on claims urgency.
