Job Summary The Project Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by securing high-value commercial and residential projects for RAK Ceramics. You will act as the primary link between the brand and key stakeholders—architects, interior designers, developers, and main contractors—ensuring RAK is the preferred choice for tiles and porcelain slabs in the Cambodian market. 2. Key Responsibilities Pipeline Management: Identify and track upcoming construction projects (hotels, condos, boreys, and commercial hubs) in Phnom Penh and key provinces. Specification (Spec-in): Visit architecture and design firms to present RAK’s latest collections, technical advantages (e.g., antimicrobial tiles, large-format slabs), and secure "spec-in" status in project blueprints. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain a network of developers, procurement managers, and government officials to ensure RAK is invited to tender for major projects. Technical Advisory: Provide expertise on tile applications, including slip resistance, durability, and installation requirements, to ensure the right product is chosen for the right area. Negotiation & Closing: Lead the bidding process, prepare quotations within company margins, and negotiate contracts to final signature. Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing, new product launches (e.g., from Thai or Chinese brands), and construction trends in Cambodia to keep RAK Ceramics competitive. After-Sales Support: Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery to project sites and handle any quality or installation queries. Job Requirements 1. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or Interior Design. Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project sales within the construction industry. Experience specifically in tiles, sanitary ware, or flooring is highly preferred. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to close large-scale B2B contracts ($50k+ value). 2. Skills & Competencies Network: An existing "rolodex" of architects, developers, and contractors in Cambodia. Communication: Fluent in Khmer; Strong professional English (for reporting to management and coordinating with the UAE headquarters). Chinese (Mandarin) is a major plus given the current developer landscape. Presentation: Ability to deliver high-quality product presentations to professional boards. Technical Savvy: Ability to read architectural drawings and floor plans to calculate quantities and suggest alternatives. 3.
