- Work closely with CEO and MD to ensure that the finance operations running smoothly; - Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance. - Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all entries. - Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting documents. - Prepare a report of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends, providing insightful reports to management. - Planning budgets and forecasts. - Control the AP and AR functions, ensuring timely and accuracy. - Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations, tax laws, and company policies. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounting department. - Maintain the internal control. - Provide expert financial advice and guidance to the other department such budgeting, resource allocation and financial planning. - Liaise with external audit throughout the audit process. - Work with the project and Purchasing Dept. to get the forecast/estimate budget plan. - Other tasks assigned by CEO/ MD.
