Account Payable Under Procurement team Position: 1 Positions Key Responsibilities • Track account payable with supplier • Make paperwork to request payment from Finance department • Data entry into system • Track shipment progress • Research and source machinery and equipment from overseas markets, ensuring competitive pricing and quality • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new supplier networks • Negotiate terms and conditions, including price, delivery, and payment terms, to secure favourable contracts • Monitor and track orders, resolving any issues related to shipment, customs clearance, and delivery schedules • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, finance) to align purchasing activities with company objectives • Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents Prerequisites/Qualifications Education & Experience: - Degree is flexible - Experience in researching and procuring machinery or technical equipment, ideally from international sources Skills & Competencies: - Proficient in spoken and written English (additional language skills like Chinese would be beneficial) - Strong negotiation and communication skills - Basic understanding of international trade regulations (e.g., Incoterms) and import/export procedures - Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Proactive and eager to learn, with a growth mindset
