Purchasing Manager

Position Summary: The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services required by the organization. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and quality purchasing while maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting operational needs. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms. Review purchase requests, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery. Monitor supplier performance and maintain an updated approved vendor list. Control purchasing budgets and analyze cost-saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards. Coordinate with departments (Finance, Operations, etc.) to forecast and plan procurement needs. Mitigate supply risks and resolve any delivery or quality issues. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. Proven experience in purchasing or procurement management. Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills. Knowledge of inventory and supply chain principles. Proficient in procurement systems and MS Office. Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
