Job Summary: The Car Loan Collections Officer is responsible for managing and collecting overdue car loan payments. This role requires maintaining effective communication with borrowers to negotiate repayment plans, ensuring timely debt recovery, and minimizing loan losses while upholding positive customer relationships and compliance with relevant regulations. Salary Range 250$ - 350$ Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and review overdue car loan accounts regularly. • Contact borrowers via phone, email, or in-person to inform them about overdue payments and discuss repayment options. • Negotiate suitable payment plans that align with both the borrower’s capacity and company policy. • Work closely with sales consultants, car dealers, and internal teams to resolve loan-related issues and improve collection efforts. • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications. • Prepare financial statements and reports related to outstanding loans for management review. • Initiate legal proceedings or loan repossession actions when necessary, following company guidelines and regulatory requirements. • Keep updated on car values and market trends to assist in collateral evaluation. • Provide exceptional customer service to support loan recovery and foster positive client relations. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. • Previous experience in loan collections, preferably car or auto loans, is highly desirable. • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in office software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Knowledge of debt collection laws and financial compliance standards. • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations. Skills and Attributes: • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Persistent and resilient in pursuing debt recovery. • Professional and ethical approach in dealing with clients. • Ability to analyze financial information and develop effective collection strategies. Working Conditions • Full-time position. • May require occasional overtime or weekend work based on business needs.
