Key Responsibilities -Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment -Lead, supervise, and review internal audit assignments and audit teams -Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures -Assess compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies -Identify risks, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities -Prepare audit reports with clear findings and recommendations -Present audit results to senior management and the Audit Committee -Monitor and follow up on audit findings and corrective action plans -Coordinate with external auditors and regulators when required -Ensure adherence to professional auditing standards (IIA, COSO, etc.) -Promote a strong internal control and risk management culture
