The IT Officer is responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s information systems, servers, and POS platforms to ensure smooth and secure operations across all departments. This role focuses on system reliability, timely technical support, and continual improvement of IT infrastructure and performance. Key Responsibilities: 1. IMS System Support a. Maintain and troubleshoot the company’s IMS (Inventory Management System) to ensure accurate and real-time data. b. Coordinate with system vendors for upgrades, bug fixes, and feature improvements. c. Provide user training and support to ensure efficient use of IMS. 2. Server & Network Management a. Manage company servers, including backups, data storage, and security configurations. b. Monitor network performance, ensure stable connectivity, and handle IP, router, and firewall management. c. Conduct regular preventive maintenance and system updates. 3. POS System Maintenance a. Maintain and support the company’s POS system across branches or outlets. b. Troubleshoot POS hardware and software issues to minimize downtime. c. Ensure daily data synchronization and proper integration with accounting or IMS systems.
