Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in PHP/Laravel to lead the development of a next-generation POS system integrating payment gateways, loyalty programs, and business analytics, with support across mobile and multiple platforms. You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and system architects to build a scalable, secure, and high-performance platform. Duties & Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain core modules of the POS system using PHP/Laravel and modern front-end frameworks. • Integrate payment processing systems, loyalty features, and real-time analytics dashboards. • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across platforms. • Ensure cross-platform compatibility and seamless user experience on web and mobile apps. • Optimise performance, scalability, and data security across all layers. • Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. • Mentor junior developers and contribute to coding standards and best practices. • Troubleshoot production issues and lead system improvement initiatives. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with strong backend experience in PHP/Laravel. • Proven experience in POS or FinTech systems with payment gateway integration. • Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular). • Hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and RESTful API development. • Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS or similar IaaS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Understanding of data analytics and reporting tools for business insights. • Experience with mobile app integration (Flutter, React Native, or similar) is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
