We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and discreet individual to assume the role of "House Manager" for a large, private household. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in high-end hospitality, specifically as an operations manager within a luxury hotel setting, and will be responsible for ensuring the seamless daily operation and maintenance of the residence to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the household, applying exceptional organizational and leadership skills. Staff Management and Supervision: Supervise, mentor, and manage all household staff, including housekeepers, private chefs, and maintenance personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Operational Efficiency: Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the property, ensuring all systems (HVAC, security, smart home tech, etc.) function optimally and standards are consistently met. Financial Oversight: Develop and manage household budgets, track expenses, handle payroll for staff, and oversee vendor invoices and accounts. Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors and contractors, negotiating contracts and supervising all maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects to ensure quality and adherence to budgets. Guest and Event Management: Coordinate and manage household events, guest accommodations, and travel arrangements, ensuring a high level of service and a positive experience for all guests. Inventory and Supply Management: Maintain comprehensive household inventories, manage procurement of supplies, and ensure all areas are well-stocked. Policy and Procedure Implementation: Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the household to enhance efficiency and ensure consistency in service delivery, similar to hotel operations.
